How to play Eurojackpot

You don’t have to be located in one of Eurojackpot’s 18 participating countries to play, which means you can choose your numbers online from India. Just follow the steps below to play:

  • Pick five numbers between 1 and 50 and two Euro numbers between 1 and 10. You can pick the numbers in the play panel yourself or select ‘Quick Pick’ for a random set.
  • Repeat the first step for every set of numbers you want to enter. You can pick up to eight sets of numbers at one time.
  • Choose whether to enter one draw or subscribe to enter your numbers into future draws too. You can subscribe on a one-month or three-month basis.
  • Hit the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
  • Sign in to your LotteryWorld.com account if you have one, or register for a new one.
  • Add a payment method if you haven’t already and add funds to pay for your entries.
  • Wait for the results or look out for an email from LotteryWorld informing you that you’ve won a prize.

Eurojackpot Prizes and Odds

To win you have to match the numbers you have entered to the winning numbers drawn on a Friday night. To win the jackpot, which starts at ₹88 Crore and can reach ₹790 Crore, you must match all five of your numbers and both Euro numbers. How much does it cost to play on Eurojackpot?

Eurojackpot costs ₹230 for a single entry. One-month and three-month subscriptions can work out cheaper per entry but you have to pay for each draw the numbers are entered into.

When do draws take place?

Eurojackpot draws take place every Friday at 23:30 IST. The winning numbers are added to the Eurojackpot Results page soon after.

What are the Euro numbers?

The Euro numbers are two bonus numbers that are drawn after the five main ones. Many of Eurojackpot’s prizes, including the jackpot, require you to match one or both of them. The Euro numbers are picked from a separate pool to the main numbers, so it is possible to see the same number appear twice in the same draw.

Is there a minimum jackpot?

The jackpot starts at a guaranteed ₹88 Crore and will reset to this amount for the draw after the jackpot is won.

What is the biggest jackpot ever won?

The maximum jackpot of ₹790 Crore has been won on several occasions. A 36-year-old cleaner from Berlin, known only as Christina, famously won that amount when she bet on Eurojackpot online on June 1, 2018.

Is Eurojackpot the same as EuroMillions?

No, Eurojackpot and EuroMillions are two completely separate lotteries with different jackpots, prizes and draw days. EuroMillions takes place twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays where as Eurojackpot only takes place on Fridays. More information on EuroMillions can be found on its dedicated page.

What happens when you win Eurojackpot?

If you match a few numbers to win one of the smaller prizes in Eurojackpot then the prize amount will be paid straight into your online account for you to do so as you wish.
